WELCOME!! We are happy to have you at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Mound, MN, an ELCA church located in the heart of the Lake Minnetonka area.
Please join us as we celebrate Christ’s resurrection and the promise of Easter morning. Our spring worship schedule includes worship and Sunday School every Sunday morning at 9:00 am and 10:30am, with coffee fellowship in between. (New Sunday School students are welcome anytime!) Nursery is available inside for the littlest ones.
This summers worship will begin on Sunday, May 27th at 9:30 A.M. We will gather outside in our beautiful outdoor sanctuary. For those who wish to be inside all will be made ready for you to sit in the comfort of air conditioning and be served communion on those weeks we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? … Not very well if we don’t have volunteers to help us!
St. John’s Garden Club is in need of helping hands. Money is tight and needless to say there is not paid staff that takes care of our bushes, trees, and flower gardens. If we have many helping hands we can share the work load and it will be enjoyable for all. We want our grounds and buildings to be treated with the respect they deserve.
So, how can you plug in? Spring is here and we will need to ready our gardens for the transplanting of bulbs and potting plants. Can you spare a couple of hours a week? Leave your name and contact information with the church office, or call Jayne at 612-723-1580.
Bring rakes, hoes, shovels, leaf blowers, rags, paper towels, and other supplies we will need to spruce up the church yard, hoe the gardens, and wash windows. What is it about clean windows that make us all feel better?
It is important that we all help keep our grounds and building in good condition.

A Wine Tasting including domestic wine, appetizers, a raffle and silent auction, will be held on May 19th from 4 to 6 pm. It will benefit the Community Outreach of St. John’s. Tickets are limited and the cost is $25. Purchase your tickets between services on Sunday.
Help is needed to set up , decorate, serve or make appetizers, donate wine related raffle or silent auction items. help with the auction, take tickets or clean up.

All children 3 years old – 4th grade are invited to join us for this year’s Sky VBS. At Sky, kids will discover that, “everything is possible with God”! Children will meet new friends, participate in amazing experiments, play wild games, enjoy incredible music and have other surprising adventures!
It will be held Monday – Thursday, June 11-14, 20121 from 9 am – noon.
To register, simply download the registration form from our website (registration forms are also available at the church office).
