5th & 6th Grade Seder Celebration

When:
February 24, 2018 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am America/Chicago Timezone
2018-02-24T10:00:00-06:00
2018-02-24T11:00:00-06:00
All 5th and 6th graders and their families are invited to a Seder Celebration, Saturday February 24th from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. in the Church Library.
The Seder Meal is a traditional Passover dinner, which has been celebrated since the Exodus of the Hebrew people from Egypt. We will explore what a Seder meal is all about and how it connects to Holy Communion. It is believed that this is the meal that Jesus was celebrating with his disciples when he instituted the Eucharist. When our children were baptized we promised to provide for their instruction in the Christian faith. This is one of our ‘Grow in Faith’ events that help us honor that promise.
