Welcome! We are so glad you found our online home. St. John’s Lutheran Church of Mound is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We are located in the heart of the Lake Minnetonka area. Our Sunday worship services are at 9:00am and 10:30am year-round.
In the summer (Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend) , our 9:00am worship is outdoors in our wonderful outdoor sanctuary (near our memorial garden). Our 10:30am is indoors. We always have coffee/treats fellowship year-round after worship.
We invite you to join us–we love visitors! (introduce yourself to an usher or a pastor….we have a gift for you on your first visit). There are many opportunities for shared ministry throughout the week, and we encourage everyone to discover a sense of belonging and service to others.
Our Pastors & Staff – St. John’s has two pastors: Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Jeff Heiderscheit, and Rev. Tim Johnson, Pastor for Missions and Stewardship. St. John’s is also gifted with leadership from our dedicated staff, church council, and volunteers. Together, we celebrate the Good News of God’s love through our worship services, and we share it with others through the various ministries. Again, welcome!
