5th Grade Breakfast Club
Sunday School is offered during Sunday morning worship.
Sunday School at St. John’s is open to all children, 3 years old – 4th grade. Feel free to join us at any time.
5th – 6th Grade Breakfast Club: St. John’s offers “Breakfast Club” for middle school youth. 5th and 6th graders can go directly to the Harbor on non-communion Sundays. There will NOT be Breakfast Club on communion Sunday’s, the first and third Sundays of the month. This way our middle school youth can attend worship and receive communion on those Sundays.
Sunday School begins after the Children’s message during worship and lasts for the remainder of the worship hour. Sunday School is for children 3 years old – 4th grade. Children are welcome to join us at anytime!
We use Augsburg’s Spark curriculum for our Sunday School lessons. Spark is a faith formation program designed to activate faith in children.
With Spark, kids open their Bibles each week and engage in Scripture! Watch them grow in their faith by encountering God’s Word while participating in activities that reinforce the Bible stories.
Spark lessons are designed to engage every child in active learning! Age-appropriate lessons designed for multiple intelligences reinforce key points of the stories and help kids get more out of Sunday school, no matter what their learning style may be.
