About Us

We have learned so much since the spring of 2020. We’ve learned that we can worship and praise God in ways we never anticipated. We’ve learned that a church doesn’t have to physically be together to be a church. We’ve learned there are people yearning for a worship experience they can attend without leaving home. We’ve learned how to adapt and follow God’s lead into an uncertain future. We’ve learned to celebrate and be thankful for blessings that we didn’t know we had. Most of all, we’ve learned that, trusting in God and Jesus Christ, we can weather any challenge.

Whether you prefer to worship online right now, or would like to attend worship in person, we would love to have you as part of our community of faith. Welcome to St. John’s.

St. John’s…..a community Sharing the Love of Christ by WORSHIPPING God daily, WELCOMING all people, PRAYING for God’s creation, and PROCLAIMING the Good News of Jesus Christ! (Phil 4:4-9)

We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), located in the heart of the Lake Minnetonka area. Our worship services are Sundays at 9:00am and 10:45am. Worship is live streamed online on our website and Facebook page at 9:00am during the school year and at 10:45am during the summer. The service is then available to watch at any time for the rest of the week.

In the summer (Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend), our 9:00am worship is outdoors in our wonderful outdoor sanctuary on the back side of our building (near our memorial garden). Our 10:45am worship is indoors.

We invite you to join us — we love having you as our guest! (Introduce yourself to an usher or a pastor … we have a gift for you on your first visit.)  There are many opportunities for shared ministry throughout the week, and we encourage everyone to discover a sense of belonging and service to others. Our Pastor & Staff:  Our Senior Pastor is Ryan Prondzinski and Raul Garcia III is our Associate Pastor. Along with our talented staff, church council and volunteers, we celebrate the Good News of God’s love and strive to help ours know about that same love.  To learn more about our pastors and staff, click here. Again, welcome!  We are glad you found us online, and hope that you take the time to join us in person.
